The first time I had seen Colleen perform was in Boston in 2002. It was my first time at the Comedy Connection in Faneuil Hall. Monday night was open mic night and the late great Kevin Knox was the host. I recorded my set that night and I still have it. Kevin's intro for me is still one of the best ones I ever had. I drew the short straw that night and went on first, Colleen was second. I laughed really hard at her set. You could tell she was a natural and very funny. I was able to work with her and her brother Eddie a lot over the years, thanks to John Perotta. We've always gotten along well and I always enjoy watching her perform. Colleen and I used to perform at the Station Nightclub's open mic. Ace was the local headliner that used to stop by and do a set. I was saddened by the terrible tragedy that happened to the Station, I had fond memories of the place. I made several friends that I am proud to say are still friends today. So this episode is three long time friends hanging out and reminiscing about Colleen's comedy career. There were some big laughs during this one. Enjoy!
